Martin Stürtzer is an Ambient / Electronic / Dub Techno artist from Wuppertal (Germany). I work with analog, digital, hardware and virtual instruments to create Ambient, Electronic and Dub Techno music. I release music on CD / Vinyl / Bandcamp and play live. In march 2020 I started the Home Concert series where I play a live show from my studio on every first sunday of the month at 20:00 CET. I am also running the dark ambient projects Phelios & Sphäre Sechs and organise a dark ambient festival in a church called Phobos Festival.
Ambient Liveset (Home Concert 64)
Welcome to the 64th edition of my Home Concert series. Part 1 starts with pads from the Waldorf M and Iridium synthesizers, later joined by two sequences from the modular system. Part 2 is based on multiple modular sequences and some generative chords on the Minifreak. In Part 3 I invited a second Martin from a parallel universe to join me on the piano, while I play my "Elberfeld rain" field recordings and sounds from the Waldorf M.
Thanks a lot for watching, I will now have a summer break, so we won't have a Home Concert in August.

Welcome to the 63rd edition of my Home Concert series. In this set I present five new Ambient tracks, arranged with my hardware synths, Daweseome Myth, U-He Repro-5 and Ableton 12. For live looping I used Enso by Audio Damage. This set left me a lot of space for improvisation, the use of my Juno 60 was completely spontaneous. A few weeks ago I made a video about my Bitwig workflow. I also showed, that the Program Change feature was broken. After the release of that video I had the chance to talk to someone working with Bitwig. And guess what: they fixed the feature in the new beta 5.2! This is the second part of my live concert at Emmauskirche Wuppertal, which I played on March 22nd. The set is quieter and focussing on my Ambient music. Only a few sequences appear in parts 4 and 5.
